Artist's Description

Captured near the Dorsey Power Plant west of Rosser, Manitoba, Canada. It was late in the evening, and sky turned very weird. Our area was so very dry and parched at the time, and the wind was gusting to 80kms that evening, that it blew all the dust from the prairie fields up into the sky.You can actually see the dust swirling around the sun.

This photo has been enhanced by Corel Paintshop Photo Pro X3, where I merged 2 photos into one.

About Larry Trupp

Larry Trupp

Hi Folks...Welcome to my HomepageI am a self taught amateur photographer living in beautiful Winnipeg, Manitoba, which is a prairie city in the center of Canada. My dear wife Marg and I have been married for 60 years, and we have 2 married daughters and 3 grandchildren to share our busy lives I have been involved with photography over fifty years now, and really got back into it again when I retired some twenty two years ago I love to read, spend time with my family, play around on the computer, practice Photography, and volunteer a lot of my time at our local Nature Center. I also serve as a Goodwill Ambassador at Assiniboine Park Conservancy My latest camera is a Rebel EOS T3I 18.0 MP CMOS, I also use a Canon XTi...
