Artist's Description
And far in the hazy distance
Of that lovely night in June,
The blaze of the flaming furnace
Gleamed redder than the moon
And like those waters rushing
Among the wooden piers,
A flood of thoughts came over me
That filled my eyes with tears
Yet whenever I cross the river
On its bridge with wooden piers,
Like the odor of brine from the ocean
Comes the thought of other years
And I think how many thousands
Of care-encumbered men,
Each bearing his burden of sorrow,
Have crossed the bridge since then.
From the poemThe Bridge by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
Captured on the Assiniboine River, southwest of Headingly, Manitoba, Canada.

Larry, this is one fine display of pure natural beauty, at its best! Love the silhouetted bridge and your skyline, with the silhouetted trees is just fabulous, and with the great reflective quality in the water way, it is just divine in its natural beauty and presentation!
